_Schism_ is an online, persistent-world multiplayer game that aspires to improve upon the cooperative experience currently delivered by popular casual games on the Facebook platform by deriving social mechanics from hardcore massively multiplayer online role-playing games. In _Schism_, players band together to help build their small town into a prosperous city. Players’ actions in the game consist of both individual efforts and collaborative ones in order to create a compelling social experiences without requiring an extensive time commitment.
