Wearing Multiple Hats & Your Guest’s Shoes: Designing & Producing Interactive Experiences for Public Venues
Andrew Sacher is the principal of SacherCreative and an alum (2006) of the Interactive Media Division’s MFA program (2006). He has more than 20 years experience as a Experience Designer and Creative Producer of interactive applications. His seminar talk will present some of his work in creating public interactives for Disney Theme Parks, California Academy of Sciences, and more recently for the University of Southern California. He will consider questions such as: how does one create engaging public experiences that entertain & enrich people’s lives? What is needed to create world-class entertainment attractions, museum exhibits, and public games? How do these games differ from those played at home or on portable devices?
