The device, expected to hit stores before September and sell for $349, can record up to 48 clips of 30 seconds each, and its rechargeable battery will run for eight hours, according to Mr. Fortier. It stores the video on a removable 64-megabyte Flash memory card, which can be upgraded to larger-capacity chips.
