'the invisible train'
from here:
"The Invisible Train is a mobile, collaborative multi-user Augmented Reality (AR) game, in which players control virtual trains on a real wooden miniature railroad track. These virtual trains are only visible to players through their PDA's video see-through display as they don't exist in the physical world. This type of user interface is commonly called the "magic lens metaphor"."
through waxy

personally, almost too close to chojo to make me unnervous.

these guys were at e-tech... close to the fakespace booth. Diego talked to them a lot, because they developed an Open-GL library for Pocket-PC called Klimt. Very cool project, I thought.
So, yes -- where have you been (heh).

yes these guys were at siggraph emerging tech and they told me they're willing to give their libraries to other people who would like to develop their own content with their technology.
They have pretty robust algorithms for augmented reality applications, independent of distance and perspective between camera and object.
