Nintendo's Game to Produce Own Pix
Hmm, another way to combine film & computer games...not so sure about this approach..."

Japanese vidgame giant Nintendo is preparing to get into the film biz, likely by creating an inhouse unit to develop animated features based on the numerous properties owned by the company behind the GameCube and Game Boy systems..."

For a moment -- when I read your headline -- I thought that it was an article about game characters producing their own movies inside of the game.
That would be interesting.
