Bush is preparing to shut down GPS during a national crisis so that terrorists can't navigate using the satellites.
Cory Doctorow I think said it best
Nice one, George: why not shut down the fire-departments, too, so that 'terrorists won't be able to survive fires started by careless smoking?'
So todd, how are you going to get anywhere ever again without GPS? Or better yet, how am I going to do my thesis? ha!
Thanks Bush, for making me feel so much safer. Maybe if you weren't president anymore, I would feel safer.
