guitarbot is inspiring (among the others). While I do appreciate the attention to functionality, it inspires me to think of more dynamic and aesthetic and intelligent forms. Anyone think they might go? i.e. I don't have a car).

I'm thinking that I'll probably go. How far away is Irvine?

I'll probably be driving down, leaving after class at 6pm - with no traffic Irvine is about an hour away but with traffic who knows - maybe an hour and a half. If anyone wants a lift, let me know.

Oh, this is cool. I saw the guitarbot, among other fun stuff a couple years ago at Eybeam's robot talent show in NYC. My favorite robot was Lev, the theremin-playing robot made by Ranjit Bhatnagar.
