A Situationist Critique of Computer Games

Author of Computers as Theatre, Brenda Laurel weighs in with a critique of the trends in video games from a Situationist perspective. Laurel challenges us as game designers to use the powerful medium of interactive entertainment to challenge the Spectacle rather than submit to it and support it. Detournemont gaming!!!
