ICT tour, Wednesday April 20
The ICT tour for 1st year grads will be from 1:30 to about 5pm tomorrow afternoon, 4/21. Please be at the ICT before 1:30 so we can get registered and start promptly. This is in Marina Del Rey on the Westside and will take approximately 30 minutes from campus. Directions are on the ICT website here

The HDR rendering and the rolercoaster ride were my favorite at the ICT. How long will it take until this kind of system will be common to public? For now, I just want to have one projector in my room. :)

Seriously, Doox - this field trip definitely made me want to go home and set up a projector so one of my walls could be given over to immersion and control of virtual objects and environments. Combined with Perry's class where he's showing us how cheap and quick immersive technologies can be implemented, I'm thinking I want to make my house into this kind of early immersion station.
ICT - pioneering the military entertainment complex. That has a ring to it. I need to do more research on how entertainment has supplanted industry for use value in armament design.
