1) floppies != cool
2) broken links to thesis projects != cool
3) using fancy looking flash to make up for mediocre projects, also not cool
4) "parsing XML" sure does take a long time, eh?
I tried cliking on multiple projects in the Interactive and Animation categories, and I was about 80% unsuccessful at getting to any real content. I believe this says it all: http://dexter.parsons.edu/~alexis/thesis.html
case closed!

Hold on, i'm not done yet... If you're a grad student, and you're going to put up an "Under Construction" sign (which was cool back in like '88), at least have the decency to create your own "Under Construction" image from scratch instead of using one of those god-awful pre-made ones! I thought they teach you NOT to put up under construction signs in computer pre-school - how is this kis enrolled at Parsons??? Jezus, what a nub...

Ze Floppy is cool; but as to the rest of your bashing...Parsons rules... lay off, if we could anti up on an ounce of thier design skills I'd be happy. At least they tried to have a cohesive identity and website.
Some of the work looks really weak, but the gamut of of projects is compelling.
I was accepted into thier program, and did some serious touring, great place, good poeple, and strange enough they seem to seriously believe in art education...go figure.
Thanks 4 the link brad, and my props to mister MB!

isn't this a film school? aren't we an interactive division?
I applaud their design or whatever, but that's what they do. It's significant to post so we can all look at what other people are doing. But it's strange to have this bitterness about other schools doing this, other schools doing that, when we should maybe just try and focus on how to carve our own niche in the space.

Bravo Will. Degrading ouselves or others is not a path to improvment; the Parsons Design and Tech program exists in the same space as our program, as such we all need to support each other.

I'm not trying to degrade our program or parsons' - Read my comments again and tell me where exactly where I'm doing that. I just was trying to express a hope that our identity will emerge over time if we focus on our projects, rather than on brand identity.
Instead of posting an sarcastic "Bravo" to me, maybe try and engage on a different level and convince me why we need to compete with parsons' in web design and identity branding. I'm sure there are a number of valid reasons.

Don't be so defensive. I meant no sarcasm; so again, bravo. :)

ok, maybe my sarcasm meter is just way off -- I don't think I really read much of erin's comment past that first part.
