Suggestions for anyone using this group: Be sure to add a hashtag to your question that narrows the scope of the question to a searchable term (e.g., #ActionScript #JavaScript #CPlusPlus #ColorTheory), but not a hashtag like #problem. That helps no one.

@admin #bugreport I still can’t figure out how to keep group posts off my viewable profile… Is it only *supposed* to be possible and not yet functional or am I just missing how to do it? If someone knows and can tell me how to fix it, I’d very much appreciate it.
@jgriffo the profiles always default to ”no filter” so other users can browse by status updates, comments, or blog posts.
So how can I filter mine on my page? I want to give out that link so people can see my work, not my group comments. I also cannot even easily find my own posts this way, if i want to send someone a specific entry. I can still find them, but there’s so much clutter now.
Hey Juli — I’ve set it so that non-logged-in users will see only blog posts by default. Also, you/visitors can search your blog posts using the search form beneath your avatar and description on your profile. Thanks for the input on this!
@jgriffo ugh that fix broke a bunch of other features. will keep working on it and will update you when it’s working properly.

@admin #bugreport problem uploading an avatar after group is created. Is there a file size limit for avatars and what is it?

which group are you trying to do this for? and is this on the first creation of the group, or are you trying to modify an existing avatar?
This is for the CTIN 542-548 class. I created the group, but then tried to go back into the admin and add an avatar. I don’t know if it’s not uploading because of file size or some other limitation.
