wow. i hate, hate, hated this article. but i think it was the style as opposed to the subject. or maybe its just more of me hating everything.

the idea of subjectivity and dualism is somewhat interesting, but i feel it all boils down to pointless debating. putting things as opposites rarely (i find) helps define them. so the fact that this article tried to break those down to me seemed shruggable. there is no reason for them to exist in the first place.

a lot of what we do here involves more than one step - i know for my thesis im looking at both a system and content for the system. one means nothing without the other.

eh, maybe it was just me, but i didnt get much from this reading at all.

()and yes kurt, everything is subjective. so its tought to declare artistic subjectivity dead.)
