Things in the foreground have cyan on the right and red on the left. This switches for background objects past the focal plane. Basically, as I understand it, your eyes see near objects as disparate images resulting in parallax; the closer the object the greater the parallax. Where your eyes converge (focal plane) parallax goes to zero, and past this the objects shift in the opposite direction. Not sure how correct the MOCA image is, ‘cause it screws with my eyes a little. But I find that if I look at the middle of the image (where I presumed the focal plane is near) the image looks best to me.

Well done, Brad. I especially like the shallow depth of field in the toys image, and the fact that even though the tabletop comes way out in front of the screen, its lack of detail allows it to coexist nicely with the image edges (which crop it from behind).
Kellee, I think the confusion you are both having about red/blue left/right is due to this: The colors in the image are seen by the opposite colored filters. That is, the cyan image is seen by the red/left eye, and the red image is seen by the right/blue eye. In other words, the colored filters make the matched color disappear, and darken the unmatched color.
So in Brad's MOCA images, the blue building in the background is to the left, and is seen by the red/left eye; and the background red building on the right is seen by the right/blue eye. Thus, the building image is uncrossed and is perceived as being behind the screen.
