This is a back story to the blubberbot exercise.

As usual, and after finishing his breakfast, Karim takes his coffee outside on the porch overlooking a breathtaking view of the sea.

Karim savors this cup of coffee in his house overlooking the sea 50 miles south of the Canadian borders. He takes a few sips, puts down the cup and decides for once to take a stroll down the beach for a breath of fresh northern air.

A rush of thoughts invaded him as he attempted to empty his head. He remembered a friend's birthday was due today and so decided to give her a surprise. He reaches for his mobile phone and dials the number..

A faint rumble behind him takes his attention briefly away from the mobile phone, he turns his head towards the source of the sound to be greeted by a silver blob carrying an over-sized human ear. He couldn't believe what he was seeing and to multiply his frightened amazement the ear spoke: "Mr. Karim you are under arrest by decree of the Patriot Act. You are in violation of mobile phone usage provision for border security. If you choose to persist you'll be deemed a danger to national security."

Karim was shocked, he hardly waited for the phone call to finish or breakfast to settle in his belly .. wham he throws his phone at the blimp and tries to run away.. but it was too late a troupe of law enforcers descend upon him and take him away.

As Karim's head is being shoved into the security car, a sweat, silky rumble fades away into the sea..

In my feeble attempts at understanding the cultural phenomenon that is World of Warcraft, I stumbled upon what I would cite as the mandatory rite of passage to this electronic realm.

My search is far from being conclusive, still I proudly present an early treasure find:
WoW According to the Simpsons ..

Warning: Contains gore and weird sense of humor. Not for the faint-hearted.
