Each week I will research each cardinal, animal, elements & colors. Part of my research will be to collect images from the internet, find materials and object that represent these individual themes and read different perspective & philosophies based on Native American & Mesoamerican traditions.
From this data this will give me better insight and perspective on creating my world & constructing my atlas.
Week 1 Sept 30th-Oct 6th
➢ North-Jaguar-Earth-black
➢ Research mazes and images & labyrinths.
➢ Create choreography

➢ West-Eagle-Wind-white
➢ Research fairytales & fictional stories mazes on & labyrinths.
➢ Visit maze at Pierce College
➢ Create choreography
Week 3 Oct 14th-Oct 20th
➢ South-Rabbit-Fire-blue
➢ Look into the psychology of mazes & labyrinths.
➢ View movies inspired by mazes & labyrinths.
➢ Create choreography
Week 4 Oct 21st-Oct 27th
➢ East-Serpent-Water-red
➢ Research the spiritual & meditative practices of mazes & labyrinths.
➢ Create choreography
Week 5 Oct 28th-Nov 3rd
➢ Research the underworld MICTLAN
➢ Visit Corn maze at Pierce College
➢ Create choreography in the corn maze
Week 6 Nov 4th–Nov 10th
➢ Research the Heavens Ilhuicampa
➢ Film at Pierce College Corn Field maze for Mujer Maiz
Week 7 Nov 11th-Nov 17th
Week 8 Nov 18th-Nov 24th
Week 9 Nov 25th – Nov 30th
Spend the next three weeks editing video and sound materials. Create a visual presentation & physical model
