Thesis Team Member Showcase:
Jerry C. recently joined my thesis project team to help fabricate the final Technophiles Anonymous installation. It is an honor and blessing to have the help of a seasoned craftsman and professional on the team. From the first day that we met, Jerry asked all the right questions and gave me complete confidence in his skills and tallents. Thanks to Jerry, I’ve been able to focus on other pressing aspects/components of my thesis project.

awesome! we talked about this in class, but for future thesis students -
while making sure no one is on your critical path is certainly the safest way in getting your thesis done the way you want it, if you can find a collaborator that you trust and enjoy working with, it really allows you as the designer to address the bigger issues of your thesis.
at this point, i owe my own collaborator, Jeff Wang, my first born child. working with him has freed me up to explore and experiment more deeply than i ever would have been able to otherwise, not to mention when i'm freaking out at 3am in the dungeon that is the INITlab, he's an awesome stabilizer to have in the foxhole.
