Something about maps continues to compel me... especially non-geographic maps. Spatial relationships are important, but they are by no means the only dimensions we should look at. When I first looked at this project, a part of me was frustrated that the geographic map was not preserved with the travel times superimposed over it. Though, after thinking about it, I like the dynamic nature of the map. It's power is in its reconfigurability. If they continue to extend the warping capabilities, I'll be even more interested.
