V.Smile TV Learning System

I saw a television ad this morning for this new videogame console directed at 3-7 year olds. They emphasized that it is a learning system for children and the titles, including several Disney learning games, will help teach kids to read and do math in a videogame environment. I looked on Amazon to see reviewer comments and the ones that were posted were particularly positive about the product.

kinda cool, i have to admit... at the same time, i'm not sure if this is any better than a 3-7 year old owning an Xbox or Playstation, they'll still end up spending more time indoors, not moving. At least Sesame Street makes you get up and dance sometimes (i swear, this is not from personal experience). From a usability standpoint, i have to appreciate the simplicity of the controller. It's very nicely geared towards younger kids (notice the eeenormous jump button!).
