RJ linked me to this when I was talking about Nobuo Uematsu earlier today. After closer scrutiny, there is only one word that can describe this picture. Totally Badass.

First off, sorry for not updating in a while, I've got a big ol bag of articles coming up. However, the recent acquisition of Uncharted, Endless Ocean, No More Heroes, Assassin's Creed, and whole boatload of others has kept me holed up. On a side note, I stumbled across this little jewel at http://worldofraids.com/ that pretty much sums up my glee for the new WoW expansion. Enjoy!

t's all on Joystiq, linked below. All I can say is hell yeah Jigglypuff's back and he brought Celda and R.O.B. Looks like some lucky gamers got an early present in Japan. which is how this info got leaked about.....2 days early. Well, that's not too bad. Click below!

When I was traveling around in Japan last year, I was bummed because I wasn't able to attend a an exhibit in Osaka on the history of Japanese toy giant Kaiyodo, and the growth of Otaku culture. However, I was pretty stoked when I traipsed over for my annual visit to the Taipei fine arts museum, and lo and behold it was there.
The exhibit exhaustively covers the general history of how models and toys like the Gashapon series became popular in Japan, and subsequently across the world. If you're in Taipei, the show lasts until the 17th of February and tickets cost less than two bucks, definitely worth a look, and you can check out some of the other exhibits currently there, like German poet/artist Gunther Grass.
