My Oba-ma-mon, let me show them to you.
Ran across this randomly, and I have to say, hillaryous. I'm just glad to see more game based art with a real world relevant message, even if it is to poke fun at politicians.

Ran across this gem by Lysol Jones on DeviantArt, I cannot even begin to tell you how happy I am.
Looks like Super Chick sisters did pretty well for Peta, and they're back again with a short 3 stage flash game with an anti-fur theme, namely super posh brand name Burberry. Check it out at the link above.

Came across this interesting little quiz game for the DS based solely on the Japan Rail (JR) system. Seems like there's just no stopping the Train fascination in Japan, I remember running across an old steam locomotive demo in the middle of nowhere when I was hiking the mountain ranges outside Tokyo, and there was a metric ton of people just standing around watching this old train move 200 feet forwards, then backwards. For those inclined, there's a little flash demo on the website below. Just click where it says uh...click here.

After acquiring the more arcade heavy portfolio of Taito a while back, Square-Enix looks like it's setting it's eyes on the new, but growing trend of RFID card games in the Japanese arcade sector. Besides the paper rock scissors double QR-Code based Dragon Quest Battle Road released last year, they've developed a new online arcade card system called NESYS (Taito Net Entry System), and have implemented it in a variety of titles including; Eternal Wheel, Aquarian Age Alternative, and even a cockpit style shooter based on HL2 called Half Life 2: Survivor.
While the gameplay itself is nothing terribly new (Most of the gameplay for both the party action RPG based Aquarian Age and Eternal Wheel look and feel an awful lot like Sangokushi Taisen and Tower of Druaga Online, but with an emphasis on small squad tactics), it's comforting to see that more and more developers are jumping on what I think is the next big trend in gaming. The hope now is that there will be a cheap, accessible, but still fun (Looking at you Eye of Judgment) home alternative that can be developed to take advantage of this system in the West.

I'm going to file this one in the ridiculous overload category of my brain. My buddy Yang sent this to me and I almost had a fit. After owning a Wii for almost a year, I really believe Nintendo's going to have to change their business plan if they want to stay afloat in the long run. Since hardware sales can only go on for so long, they're going to need some serious attach rate boosts, not to mention a decent online play and delivery system. Unique originals would also be nice, not just roms of old games.
