Notice that his voice totally changes when the rider asks him when the bus comes on Sunday. Thus proving that he is not insane, as one would expect from an MTA driver, but rather chooses to use a radically different voice specifically for when he is making an announcement. Upon hearing it, I felt humor followed by this lovely relaxation as I listened to and watched the stops go by. And isn't that what every bus rider needs, just someone to take the edge off when they're sitting between a screaming child and someone who smells of urine?

I think so.

So, here's to you, Mr. Best MTA Driver / Announcer. May we meet again.
