Many of these excercises I have done and participated in during my theater years. A fellow colleuge did a sort of social story gathering where he asked all of the audience members to participate in a story read to them in the dark. As he read the story, parts of it took place in the room, such as walking through sloshy water on the ground, having everyone file in single file in the dark with no shoes on, giving everyone a packet of goodies to discover only in the dark, etc. This all took place in light of the narrative he recited. Pretty cool stuff. If you would like, I could tell you/show you some more trust excercises.
