Screen Structure
Screen is up and secure. The hexagon top is made to fit the imprecise curvature of the screen. I may remake it for the skylight I'm in the process of ordering. The skylight is a little more curved than this screen, and may arrive as soon as the end of next week from a company in Santa Ana named Acralight. Right now the openings for getting inside are 4.5’, but I may lower it a little. The point of the curved screen is to cover your peripheral vision partially for an immersive sensation, so lowering it would increase this effect. However, I'm concerned about how people are going to get out easily. Getitng in I think will be fine if it was, say, 3.5 ft. But you'd sort of have to twist around to get out. Maybe I just need 3 mechanic's boards on wheels...
I'm working on modifying a more robust hand-tracking Jitter patch that I received from Perry Hoberman, and I may be ready for some hand-tracking tests by weekend's-end. I also want to have the mylar mirror mounted above the structure soon, but I need to get a nice flat board to stretch it over first.
