The $100 PC...
If our good friend Negroponte has his way, developing nations' governments and educational systems will find hordes of cheap PCs ready and waiting for them some two years from now. I had heard talk of a $100 dollar PC before from people like Steve Ballmer and the usual pantheon of Linux advocates, but now it looks like there's some support to make this real, what with guys like AMD, Google, and Samsung on-board.
It seems to me like this is long overdue, the state of technology being as it is...
