Gaming on the Cheap...
Since other people have pushed this as a good idea, I'm going to start mentioning some of the deals in games and tech that I see in nearby stores. Today through Tuesday at Fry's, we've got Half Life 2 for 20 bucks. What makes this a good deal? Well, it's the CD-ROM edition, but that really doesn't make a difference once you install it, does it? :) If you've been looking for a good price on this title, this isn't a bad time to get it...

That is a good deal - I've been waiting to pick up that game. How many CDs was it, Vince?
This is an old principle - if you're waiting to wait, most games get cheaper. Some, the rare Radiant Silvergun, are better to pick up in the store when you find them, though.

Only 5 CDs, surprisingly. For some reason I was expecting more...
And yeah! With the big titles, your Half Lifes, Marios, and Final Fantasies that are assured of big sales numbers, a year will save you a good chunk of cash...
