Want to make a game?

After I submitted my AISB conference paper, I began rapid prototyping of Monkey Monastery. It's due in 1 year and 4 months. I've already put about 500 hours into research, design, and technology. This semester I'll be producing one exercise prototype every two weeks. By spending 20 to 30 hours a week, for a year, I'll produce an educational experiment.

But to make this more than just an educational experiment, to make a noteworthy videogame, I need playtesters, fellow designers, artists, and programmers.

So this week I am putting up recruiting posters on campus. I might as well start here:

Want to learn PROFESSIONAL design?
Seven published games since 1997

Want to build a GROUNDBREAKING game?
Bring the world closer through LANGUAGE

Want CREDIT for an MFA thesis?
CS 529, CS 486, CTIN 491

OR, interested in an occasional playtest? Drop me an e-mail ( k e n n e r l y @ u s c . e d u )

Nice idea David, after all to make a noteworthy videogame is no child’s play.
