Bilbo Bloggins and other good decisions.

I made a good decision on Thursday night. In fact, I'd say it was the second-best decision I made all week.

But the best, hands down, was biting the bullet and purchasing 21 sweet characters of internet retail. That's right, you are now looking at [a post by] the proud owner of

That's right, Bilbo Goddamn Bloggins. Life is good.

The name was Adam's genius, through and through... all I did was look it up as a website, and finding it miraculously open, run to the local domain-parking megacorporation, and put down nine sweet dollars.

We haven't done anything with it yet... as you can see, its mostly useful as an egregious misspelling of Kenny Loggins at the moment. Right now I'm thinking: "Bilbo Bloggins, A Safe Place For Dorks."

But I'm only, at most, one man. And sometimes, in my more deluded moments, I imagine that someone is actually reading my grab-bag Interactive Media journal. I'd like to pose this imaginary community two questions:

1) What's would YOU like to see on a site called Bilbo Bloggins (aside from the obvious answer, "a blog")?

2) Did Adam stumble upon the last great untaken domain name? This is more of a challenge, really, for all you astronauts exploring the far uncharted reaches of human stupidity. I'd be just as curious to see candidates for the strangest domain name that HAS been taken. Anyone?

WOW. You're right. That's comedic genius. Adam gets two thumbs up for me. All hail geekdom.

God that's way betta than my Thorinthoughts blog and Smaugapedia pages...

1. I think romanticr***.com is still better.
2. A consensus has been taken around here, and generally speaking most of the entries should be strummed tales listenable on mp3 and transcribed as blog. Whatever it is there should be a really lo-fi song/tale that goes with it.

Oh and let me know when you need to make a website out of it, and I can put it on my web thingy for free.
