Cache Schedule and TOC

I'll admit it... all I really want to do is keep the candle burning on the last two posts. A heated discussion between two Chrisses? Harumph? Dancing zombies? Brauer calling me a stoner? A PG-13 stream of consciousness rant about diet pepsi from my old pal Babonis, a rant so bewildering I'm actually NOT publishing it (though of course I'll send it to anyone who asks nicely)?

There's just too much good stuff in my corner of the world right now.

Yet school marches on. More comments on the blog-turned-discussion-board tomorrow... tonight, I need to sketch the rough outlines of a class and an atlas. Organization is not my strong suit, but here's my best shot:

Cache Atlas: Written Version

Design and Specification Document: The Eliza Project
There are three levels of time/revision on this document: they will be clearly demarcated. The initial writings are the proposal for construction. The first revision was added just before the launch. The second revision was completed eight months after launch... a month before the events described in the game. I haven't yet decided on the authors of these revisions.

Lil'Albondigas [TypeKey Profile Page]:

Your blog post looks scarily like homework hombre...

What I want to know is after step X. Launch the Eliza, am I going to get to fly it around. I think ultimately this game will have to ask do I want the people who spent all their time building models with legos, or do I want the people who played space battle and castle wars with the legos their siblings built already.

Also when can I expect you pessimistic schedule?

Jamie Antonisse [TypeKey Profile Page]:

Your instincts are good, Petey. Sadly, homework will show up here from time to time... if it's categorized Academite, you'll know there's a hidden ajenda.

This is just a document describing the world of the Eliza, not the game. Everything you see here is set before the game begins. I'm gonna go into more detail about the gameplay later... by the end of the semester, you SHOULD even be able to play a prototype of it. Can't promise it'll fulfill your Lego needs... it's a different sort of project. But hopefully it'll have a place in your heart nonetheless

The pessimistic schedule will be printed in tear-tracks across my sleep deprived face sometime later this year. December, maybe?
