I had no trouble with it (PC version). I really like the changes you've made to the feedback system, subtle, but it helps me know how well I've done on each word. Also, the sound mix is much better here than the last version I played.
Congrats on finishing this -- I know it's been a long semester, but it was worth it. You should both be really proud of this piece.

Thanks for the heads up! The "PC" download has been tested on Windows XP, the "Mac" download on 10.4 and 10.5. What operating system are you using? Let me know and I'll do some more tests.

Hmm.... thanks for letting me know, Marientina. I'll have to do some more PC tests when I get back to school. I wonder if it's a Torque thing, i.e. whether it's readily fixable or not.
Is anyone else out there having trouble?

I had trouble running the program on PC(WinXP). It never goes to the game interface at all. There was an error message. Let me copy that to you after my work today.

OK, I'd say three people with errors constitutes a critical mass. I'll try rebuilding the PC version on a different computer, later this week, and see if that helps.

Here it goes:
Game Startup Error
--------------------------------------
'initializeProject' function could not be found.
This could indicate a bad or corrupt common directory for your game.
The Game will now shutdown because it cannot properly function

Hey Jamie... great job. The Atmosphere works really well. If you want them I have some notes to give you when you get back in town.

I think the graphic chipset, integrated Intel, could make troubls.
A few months ago, I cannot execute PhysX engine with Ogre3D in my laptop.
But my desktop computer did not occur any problems. It had Geforce 7600GS.
X60 has Intel 950G.

What a strange game. Where can I learn about your intentions?
Technically: It loaded without difficulty on my PC/WinXP laptop. But, the first time I played, some of the letters didn't appear on-screen (i.e.: the "L" in "SLEEP.") I'm guessing from my babies increased crying, I was still expected to hit the right key, at the right time.
Artistically: The audio is very effective, if you're trying to get the user to feel anxious and rushed. Once the crying started, I was almost always striking the keys too early.
I don't understand the relevance of the doll/robot-child graphic/logo. A more effective metaphor may be a child's musical instrument, where the right key has to be hit at the right time (like your game.)

I didn't get a chance to tell you how effective I thought this was when I saw it during the presentations.
