Dyadin Comics
Here are some comics I did for the IGF game "Dyadin" this week. Although it is not a narrative game, these comics serve vague backgrounds and tasks. And I like some of the drawings very much.

These look great! I'm again very impressed. It's too bad the game has nothing to do with the beauty and story you have here, hopefully this work will lead to some more meaningful gameplay.

Au contrare, my friend. It has everything to do with the story. The gameplay and story go hand in hand, it's just tough to see it with the few begining levels we have.

Mike, are you trying to fool me or yourself? Slapping on a story at a later date is nice, I hope it works for you! It seems to be a big problem in most of the gaming world. On another note. when can we see the game? I would really enjoy seeing how you fellas integrate this stuff.

I used the new wacom intuos 3 tablet (which I think has no difference between the older version) paint that in photoshop. Pure painting, no filter or other tricks.

Oh, forget to mention, the characters are 3d polygon models I made in maya.

Yeah, I'm as skeptical as Erin regarding story in Dyadin...but then I have pretty high standards for what truly constitutes "story-driven gameplay."
