What is this?
I shot this on my way home today around 19:30pm. The sky is completely dark, but this weird stroke on the sky is glowing as if there's light shooting through but yet it shows a smooth gradient from blue to red. I and people from my apartment gathered outside and observed it for about 30min till it fades out.
What is it?

Erin called me out and I saw it from my place in Hollywood. Yeah, what is it? People were out on the street, saying something flew through the air and made it, then flew off and disappeared.

Great, I'm not the only one who saw this.
I was driving home, and nearly rear ended the person in front of me while I was staring at it.
At first, I thought it was a plane, leaving contrails. Then I remembered it was dark out, and contrails aren't bright white, blue and orange.

This is one of the joys of living near military bases. These things show up all the time. No wonder so many people in Hollywood like to make movies about alien invations. We have met the alien invadres, and they are US!
