Little Web Interactive Design
Last weekend, I did a little flash piece for Michael Lew and the Live Cinema Nights he's hosting. You can check it out via the link above.
A survey for a casual game concept
It's my frist time to use online survey software. Someone better come up a better interface for them.
But hey, for those who know me or not, I really wish to hear your opinions on this. It is for a game my friends are designing and possibley available in the near future.
To make this post more useful for all of us, here is the
survey result

When you know more, you know less...
Recently I got into some very intensive philosophical thinking about our world and the meaning of our life. Well, well I know it's clique and cocky to talk about philosophy. But after understanding a lot of rules around game design and art, I can't stop to understand more things behind the surface.
Thanks to the internet, I find a lot new things out there and had a much better understanding of our world and our universe. For quite a while I think I'm slowly becoming "crazy" on trying to understand all these questions most people don't care about.
Well if you think you know a lot and want to feel want to learn more or be inspired, here are some good ones I found.
Imagining the Tenth Dimension
If you can imagine at all. Flash demonstration about the book with the same title by Rob Bryanton. This 8 min long animation help you to understand what it could be to look at our world from a higher dimension. After watching it, I feel how tiny and less important we are as things existing in our dimension. I also find it's interesting to think about film as a 4 dimensional media and video games as a 5 dimensional media or even 6 dimensional.
A new kind of Science
Computational sciense which opens the possibilities that traditional science like mathmatics and physics can not explain. While most people believe in the correctness of science today, this new field completely shake the existing science. The model he brought up is also a interesting way to be used in video game design.

Food for Hungry Gamers
I accidentally ran into this post on digg.com today.
It's called "Down home cooking with DS" as below
It instantly reminded me of "Cooking Mama". But looks much more practical. Considering I'm a starving single, I would definitly buy one. Hope it's imported and translated. I guess you all can feel the special charm in products like this. With the new pink Nintendo DS, this game will capture yet another group of new gamers after Nintendog and Brain Age.
And here's another video showing how the "interactive menu" will interact with the user and really increase the quality of communication.
