My belongings are telling of a nomadic and technocultural environment. The things I carry in my backpack can sustain my existence outside of my home for hours, if not days, at a time. There is careful calculation, down to the bag I carry everything in, as to what needs to be part of the third places I will travel between (i.e., coffee shop, lab, open spaces on campus). My technology keeps me connected, my clothes are meant for comfort, snacks and water offer sustenance, and my keys and cards provide me access to additional daily survival items.
