Here is the patch I did. It was improved and better presented with the precious Perry's expertises. Download filePlay it with your friend it will be even funnier than Karaoke or even alone with famous monologs or practicing changing voices and sounds :-)
Here is the game description.
Tech Requirements: Max/MSP, a Connected Mic, Speakers, Have some Compelling Movie Sequences in Quicktime to Dub.
The Game Goal: The game consists in dubbing and creating the sound effects on a film sequence on Real Time creating the dialog on the fly.
Potential Game Rules: (Feel free to do your own)
A) Each player will be a character and we will have a Sound Effect Person as well as a Soundtrack person.
B) The first turn the players will watch the movie with the original sound.
C) They will have 5 minutes to come up with a new dialog.
D) The players will see the final dub after all having a chance to repeat it and improve it as much as they want or if played on teams as much as the other team considered is good enough.
Potential New Rules: Watch the previous film and take 5 minutes to come up with a new script through writing and memorizing.
