Harmonium World ATLAS

citadel_render.png

After hearing Jordan's first lecture to our group, I realized I'd done a slipshod job of planning for the future of any of the worlds I've created in games. Seeking to rectify that, this atlas is a partial retcon of the cursory worldbuilding I did for the Harmonium 484 game I built with Jen Hollcroft, and also a great expansion.

Herewith: the atlas of Harmonium, a world literally built inside a storybook, but not actually a fairy tale land. Very important point there. Not a fairy tale land. Not in the sense of doublets and tunics and damsels in castles and swords and sorcery. None of that. Also no enchanted talking animals, no dragons, and to make it 100% Swain-friendly, no elves.

It has a lot to do with music. And it has a lot to do with chapters. Chapter One is a land you've already heard about if you played the game. Chapter Two is all new, and represents a very different kind of place, but one that obeys the same rules as the first. You can read about it if you download the Atlas here:

HARMONIUM - an atlas of the realm

You will need a password to view it. Email me if you want said password. I will also be giving it out in Peggy's 532 class and again at Wednesday Seminar.
