World of Warcraft may actually be good for you!

Before you swear off World of Warcraft forever, you might want to check out this PC World interview with associate professor Douglas Thomas of USC's Annenberg School for Communication.

He argues that MMOs can help create marketable skills for the workplace and that games have many practical applications.
