Rafael Mizrahi and Tal Chalozin from GarageGeeks have built a robot that plays Guitar Hero II.
They call it Guitar Heronoid. It is awesome.
So to clarify:
Two dudes built
a robot which plays
a videogame based on
covers of pop songs.
We're pretty deep into the house that Jack built.

It can't possibly be as entertaining as Brazil, Rossmassler and of course Yang when they play guitar hero...

It's just a shame that it isn't very good at it! Haha.
I see a grudge match coming up: Heronoid vs. Yang

That is pretty sweet. It wasn't 100% perfect, but doesn't that actually make its AI more realistic? ...well realistic perhaps if I were the one playing lol. I'm not sure how awesome you guys are at it.

Hah. I don't see the robot ever being able to match Al's intensity. My only conclusion towards an ultimate battle of the century would be to clone him and then face him off against himself.
