How to Make Art on Instructables. How haughty! To wit:

Art-making is one of the easiest and most lucrative of human activities.

A finished work of art can be exchanged for many desirable things such as food, shelter, sex, fame and money (which in turn could be used to purchase food, shelter, sex and fame).

So, it is understandable that you might want to know how to make art.

In the steps that follow I will share the wealth of my knowledge.

I can find no flaws with this. Like any good satire, it's true, it's funny, and it hurts. Be sure to see Taser Tag, bro. What grotesque and beautiful arrogance.

Darling Little Provocateurs

Point. Counter-Point.

It's hard to be charitable to a point that amounts to little more than hell-raising and doom saying. It's hard to listen to a counter-point where dismissive, bombastic vulgarity is employed for novelty, as opposed to an argument constructed with actual rigor.*

As someone too ignorant and too busy to actually weigh in on this poorly engineered controversy ("hay guyz, KoTaKu noticed, lulz!"), let me just say this: those of us in a position to learn about such things are poorly served by both the current state of discourse and such feeble attempts to elevate it. In the words of a good friend, "clean it up."

Casual Collective

The Casual Collective claims to combine social networking with casual gaming. So far they have some pretty basic stuff up, Tower Defense and strategy-lite games. Still, should be interesting to see if it goes anywhere.
