Adobe and Macromedia in bed!

"Adobe to Buy Macromedia in $3.4 Billion Stock Deal"

Now this is serious news... I wonder if our licensing cost will go down or up but it may make things easier. Can you however say...m@#$%^&y?

Maybe the next package will be Adobe UberSuite 2006?

this is crazy news. as if adobe didn't already have enought graphics leverage...hope it's good for the consumer. seriously doubt it though.

Macromedia hasn't improved much of their software in the recent past. Perhaps Adobe will put their signature on the next generation of artist tools.

Macromedia has been doing a pretty good job with Flash. The last several versions have all brought along a lot of important features. Hopefully Adobe will keep this momentum up.

I wonder what will happen with GoLive vs. Dreamweaver.
