Bluejacking...

I successfully bluejacked someone for the first time yesterday (11/14/03). I was walking to class at about 5:00 - 5:30 and I decided to take the long way to Zemeckis. I noticed a large crowd gathered at the fountain in front of Tommy Trojan. Some film was being shot there, and it wasn't a student one. I figured this would be as good a place as any. Setting my phasers on "stun" I wondered around for a few minutes. BINGO, "unknown". Launch torpedo's captain! BAM, "message accepted". A direct hit! Problem was, I don't think the person noticed. I believe there was some guy in the crowd with a Nokia 3650, but he was on the phone and I don't think he even cared. He probably just hit accept without thinking about it. Hopefully he will find the note. Very interesting though, and sorta nerve racking at the same time. I think the term is also probably not a good one to use, especially around Southern Cali. Maybe "blue tagging" is less disturbing. Either way, it was an interesting experience. I think I will try again today sometime. If you wanna know some more, esato.com started this little craze in their forums, at least that's what I have been told by the almighty "Internet" and "Google".
