Bad Day

Had a bad Wednesday last week. Thought that this post might explain my attitude as of late.

Wednesday the 23rd at about 8:00pm, I was leaving EA LA headquarters. It was dark and I was making a left turn onto Jefferson from Playa Vista Drive when I was hit headlong by a taxi cab. Here are some images of my car. Sadly to say, I don't think it will ever be driven again.

Thankfully all I walked away with was a sore chest (seatbelt) a bit of a sore neck and a couple of scratchs on my right hand.

The taxi cab driver was also unharmed, and didn't appear to have any injuries at all. Even his cab had a few less bumps and scratches than mine did. I guess those ford boats are good for something...

So, why am I blogging this? I am not sure, but I think its because I need some closure, maybe some sort of a warning as well. Be careful, and don't get behind the wheel if you are tired.

Well, in light of all the GDC stuff going on...I figure I better post something. Not to mention that I'm a bit behind with all the postings I should be doing for my thesis. Things are going well, just a few more odds and ends here and there for polish. My biggest battle has been time spent between school and internship. I highly recommend that everyone does their internship NOT during their thesis year.
