agony
I have recently experienced the agony of my own mother, which I have filmed, and it is certainly the strongest aesthetic experience I have ever witnessed.
During her last 100 hours, my dearest mother was in a limbo state, between sleep and awakeness, reliving her life, amalgamating past and present, spending hours closed eyes slowly waving her arms through the air as if struggling with an invisible force; she had the feeling of sinking, deeply, constantly, calling for help, for us to hold her and prevent from drowning, at times she would realize that she was dying and shout in rebellion, curse and try to leave her bed with an incredible force in spite of the many tubes that were connected to her disappearing body. And still at all times she would be aware of who was in the room and not let us leave any minute. She would go back to her childhood, teenage years, early marriage, late life and evoke disconnected keywords from all realms of her 55 years of life. Then she died. Her face was extremely still, as if made of wax, but her lips were turning to grey.

May this period of agony be a chrysanthem. Your mother left her charnel envelop into a new life. Your life changes form, living without her formal presence. Nevertheless in this moment of doubt and agony the presence of your mother is there. In a memory of all moments shared with you. May these memories be a force and carry you through these difficult times.

C’est difficile de trouver les mots justes et quels mots pourraient-ils soulager la douleur et la tristesse de la perte de sa maman ?
Je tenais simplement à dire que toi et ta famille étaient dans mes pensées et prières.
