This satire, http://www.beaucoupkevin.com/2006/08/this-weeks-project.html highlights some of the differences between Alan Moore and Stan Lee. Instead of a poignant social commentary, we have a ham-fisted hack. Although, it does reinforce just how good Watchmen is. But maybe that's just the fanboy talking.

Oooh, Mike, we have some talking to do about comics and hackery. Alan Moore is far from exempt.
