Alice Taylor

Tonight's speaker was very interesting. Associated with the BBC, she talked about the growing interest in major corporations for new technology and new modes of thinking. Cool stuff, and good to hear that the beeb is thinking about this kind of stuff. Loads better than the fearmongering Fox News does with myspace and the foley-page debacle. Just wish she would have talked about her days playing quake. But i think i'm alone in that. :/

I did get to ask a question about privacy concerns, and got an answer that was more than adequate considering a lot of the prevailing attitudes towards datacollection and privacy on the internet. Fun stuff.
