So, how secure is the new generation of passports?

With the holiday travel rapidly approaching, and all kinds of hubbub over new "secure" passports, i came across this article on hacking the new British passports...

The Guardian's analysis

So the answer to the question is: with about 200 quid and 24 hours time, not very secure at all. And that's how long it took two of the good guys to do it... unencrypted data on the passport, good call guys :[
