(via kotaku)top 5 lists
now i'm not sure i'd agree with everything on the list, but they do have some valid points
see if you can guess my top 5...
5) Doom. I can still remember the first time i played this game, sitting in Jon Jameson's computer room. I now own four copies of this game.
4) Wild Arms. My favorite "traditional" RPG
3) Super Mario Bros. this should win on replay value alone. But i feel that everything about this game just plain approaches perfection. Even the glitches are amazing.
2) Vagrant Story. Rhythm game meets RPG? Count me in. Not to mention it still looks amazing. Very much a successor to Parasite Eve, it shared all of the strengths, but with a much more convoluted storyline.
1) Parasite Eve. The reason i bought a PSX in the first place. The battle system, the weapon system, the story. I also love the fact that it was a fantasy RPG set in the real world, something that really hasn't been tried lately. The character and enemy design is amazing as well.
