So one of the changes we have discussed is adding in special pieces that are placed at the beginning of the game. When a player plays a piece onto that space, the piece is flipped over, revealing the effect.
This satire, http://www.beaucoupkevin.com/2006/08/this-weeks-project.html highlights some of the differences between Alan Moore and Stan Lee. For those of you who are interested, i have included my code on bezier curves after the jump. Copy the code into a new sketch, run, and click in the resulting window. The code uses a switch statement, which is really a simplified series of if/else statements. In the comments are my first two iterations of the the algorithm. I've never used processing before, so this was fun to write. Are there better ways of writing this? And is it cool if i post my homework here when i am finished with it? Anyone want me to keep writing up example code?
my internet was down the entire weekend, so the majority of the hw is quarantined on my desktop.
However, i do have the code for the third example on page 192(?), which uses code and concepts from the other 5. Code now fixed
Code for the processing hw for 541 after the jump:
here's more of this week's 541 homework. Set the variables true and run to see the outputs for each example. I removed my code for 6 and i don't know what will happen if multiple are set to true. but enjoi. hope it all works :}
code after the jump...
this is a little rougher than it needs to be, i don't clean up any of the extra array cells, but it works, so meh...
