Looking for BF2

I think this is the quickest way to get this out there.
I want to do a BF2 machinima for a 507 project. To do this, I'm going to need multiple copies of BF2. I'd like to install them in the IML tomorrow, so I can "film" later this week. If you've got a copy you're willing to lend me for a couple days, I'd really appreciate if you could bring it in to campus tomorrow. Right now, I've got 2 copies, which makes for a very limited cast.

For all the 1st years, the easiest thing will be for me to pick up the game from you after 507 tomorrow.
Anybody else, I plan on being around campus most of the day, so we can work out a pick up time.

If you can help me out, please post below, or send me an e-mail at mike.j.stein@gmail.com

Video Games Live Concert

www.videogameslive.com have announced their new tour dates.
For anybody who hasn't heard of the concert series, it's an orchestra that plays video game music, set to game footage and a laser light show. Taking a page from the Dear Friends: Music From Final Fantasty concert, video cameras are filming both the audience, the stage, and the orchestra, and footage from these are displayed on big screens near the orchestra.

From their website, games that they cover music from are:
Mario™, Zelda®, Halo®, Metal Gear Solid®, Warcraft®, Myst®, Final Fantasy®, Castlevania®, Medal of Honor™, Sonic™, Tron, Tomb Raider®, Advent Rising, Headhunter, Beyond Good & Evil™, Splinter Cell®, Ghost Recon™, Rainbow Six®, EverQuest® II and a special retro arcade segment that goes from Pong® to Donkey Kong®!

The closest concert to LA is at the San Diego Civic Center on Friday, November 4th.

If you're interested in going, send me an e-mail (mike.j.stein@gmail.com) or mention it in a comment after the post. If more than 7 people are interested, I'll call ticketmaster for group tickets.

Google Maps and Katrina

I'm always amazed at how versatile people can be using Google Maps.
http://www.scipionus.com/ is a website that was thrown together earlier this week, where people can update a google map of New Orleans with damage reports.
