Swerve Festival starts Friday

Flux invites you to the First Annual Swerve Festival. Events include Anton Corbijn's Control, Doug Pray's Surfwise, Steve Berra's The Good Life, and a closing night party with We Are Scientists and more. Swerve's music video and short film programs include premieres from Spencer Susser, Cat Solen and Syd Garon. The outdoor live music program includes free performances from The Black Angels, DeVotchKa, Oh No! Oh My! and Foreign Born. The free festival art show includes work from Mike Mills, Geoff McFetridge, Thomas Campbell, Sage Vaughn, Ed Templeton, Todd James and Terry Richardson. The Swerve Festival is organized by Jonathan Wells, former director of the ResFest, fans of whom will recognize that Swerve features many former Res artists. This is likely to be a very cool event - and still the only venue for this work on our humble continent!
