Oh God Sony, What Have You Done...
So many people are waiting for the ps3 to flog their spending dollars that we're actually seeing a glut in game sales. Even more so than what's normal when a new generation of consoles is released. You can bet that when the ps3 is released we won't be seeing any of these month-on-month decreases. With Sony and Nintendo both shooting for Christmas 06 I have a feeling that's going to be quite the quarter for games... maybe pull us out of this horrible black hole?
All I can say is SONY DON'T FREAKING DELAY YOUR CONSOLE ANY MORE. I DON'T CARE ABOUT BLURAY.

It will rule, but it's currently costing more than any other single part of the ps3 - and it's not really a requirement for the first rev of the console. Sony's keeping it in there because it looks like that at this point the ps3 will be the big pusher of bluray over hd-dvd. So their position makes sense, but it still sucks. And all the DRM that these next-gen formats will use is going to be a huge pain in the ass.
